Margaret died peacefully with her family at her side. Margaret was born in Garden City, Kan., Nov. 23, 1907 after which her parents, Peter and Magdalena Lambrecht, moved to Idaho, then later to Billings where they had a dairy and raised sugar beets. (Lambrecht -Huddleston) Schuld, of West Park Village died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002 at age 94, in St. Vincent Healthcare of natural causes. Margaret died peacefully with her family at her side. Margaret was born in Garden City, Kan., Nov. 23, 1907 after which her parents, Peter and Magdalena Lambrecht, moved to Idaho, then later to Billings where they had a dairy and raised sugar beets. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen (Degenhart); and six brothers, George, Adam, Casper, John, Ralph and Ned. Margaret attended the Hawthorne grade school on the Billings Bench. The Lambrecht's were members of St. Patrick's Parish. As a young girl, Margaret would drive the parish priest to take Holy Communion to the homebound and sick. Margaret married Albert E. "Bert" Huddleston of Lockwood Flats in 1929 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. They raised their two daughters, Joan and Barbara, in Billings as well. Bert died, June 27, 1979, at age 70. Later on June 5, 1982, Margaret married Matt Schuld. Matt died on Sept. 27, 1994 from cancer. Margaret has been a life-long member of St. Patrick's and St. Thomas parishes. She has been active in the parish Altar Society and a member of the American Legion, RSVP, Meals on Wheels and the Moose Lodge. Until the last meeting of the "Marion Mothers," Margaret was indeed a devoted member of the mothers of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. Margaret never knew a stranger, She loved people and will be remembered for her faithfulness to her church, her love for being devoted to her family and to her work. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, and had a great love for her flowers. Her survivors include two daughters, Sister Mary Laura (Joan Huddleston) of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas City, Kan., and Barbara Wennemar and her husband, Fred, of Laurel; five grandchildren, Fred E. Wennemar, Laurie Harper (Wilbur), Dean Wennemar (Candii), Ann Murphy (Charlie), and Greg Wennemar; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Nicole and her fiancé, Ben; and Margaret's two step-children, Rose (Schuld) Gaudet and Dennis Schuld. A Vigil Service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. The Funeral Mass will be 12 noon Thursday, Sept. 12 at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral with Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sisters of Charity Retirement, Leavenworth, Kan., St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral or the charity of one's choice. ~~~~~~~
