Description	:	WRIGHT, Margaret Eleanor (Walters) - On Thursday, April 16, 2015 Margaret Wright passed away at Points West Hospice at the age of 90. Margaret and her twin brother Tom were born to Garfield and Clarice Walters, in Grande Prairie, AB on April 11, 1925. Margaret grew up on the family farm on the Emerson Trail and after completing her schooling she worked at the Grande Prairie & District Credit Union for many years. Read More	WRIGHT, Margaret Eleanor (Walters) - On Thursday, April 16, 2015 Margaret Wright passed away at Points West Hospice at the age of 90. Margaret and her twin brother Tom were born to Garfield and Clarice Walters, in Grande Prairie, AB on April 11, 1925. Margaret grew up on the family farm on the Emerson Trail and after completing her schooling she worked at the Grande Prairie & District Credit Union for many years. Later Margaret worked for Rose's Flowers, a job she truly loved. She married Charlie Henderson in 1948 and they had 2 children, Doug and Patricia. Charlie passed away suddenly in 1956 which left Margaret to raise the children on her own. In 1973, when her kids were grown, she married Walter Wright, where they continued to call Grande Prairie their home. Margaret was a very kind and loving person to all, and her family was everything to her. From the big Easter dinners to the small picnics in the park, she always made time for family. She was also very involved with Forbes Presbyterian Church. She was continuously busy with her friends who seemed always to be making different crafts to raise funds at their Church bazaar. Margaret also loved to knit and crochet and made a number of nursery blankets for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends (and replacements if needed). Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband of 41 years, Walter Wright; son Doug (Linda) Henderson; daughter Patricia; grandchildren: Lauriene (Jim) Meadahl, Nichola (Gord) Stevens, Tara (Mark) Smigelski, and Jolene Henderson (Kris Tubman); great-grandchildren: Todd, Shelley, Lori, Emma, Kyla, Brent, Katie and Alexa; as well as 3 great great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her father Garfield, mother Clarice and step-mother Daisy Walters, as well as her first husband Charlie Henderson and her twin brother Tom Walters. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Forbes Presbyterian Church in Grande Prairie (9635 76 Ave). Luncheon to follow at the church.
