Read More	Margaret Elizabeth George Painter April 1, 1957 - February 17, 2022 Margaret Elizabeth George Painter, 64, of 480 Little Egypt Road, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Herbert Paul Painter for 49 years and daughter of the late John Pittman George, Sr. and Margaret Campbell George. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Oxford, and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Michael Painter (Jennifer) of Gaffney; a daughter, Mary Wyatt (Tracy) of Gaffney; a brother, Tom George of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Michael Reynolds (Ashley), Parker Alexander and Logan Swanlund; two great-grandchildren, Autumn & Wyatt Reynolds; numerous niece and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Pittman George, Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lane Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Spartanburg Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 2624, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304. The family will be at the residence, 480 Little Egypt Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
