Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday , January 6, 2018 at Reins Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Vincent Adams, Rev. Julius Blevins and Rev. Glenn Dancy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 prior to the service at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home. Mrs. Blevins was born May 17, 1930 in Wilkes County to A. H. Sloop and Vedie Wallace Sloop. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church and a seamstress. In addition to the parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert (Bobby) Blevins. She is survived by a daughter; Patricia Spencer and husband Terry of High Point, two sons; Rev. Joel Blevins and wife Susie of North Wilkesboro, and Col. Leonard Blevins and wife Terrie of Thomasville, six grandchildren; Chad Spencer and wife Christie of Lexington, Trina Sprinkle and husband Alex of Thomasville and Wesley Spencer and wife Heather of High Point, Tracy Blevins and wife Denise of Oak Ridge, Sonia Miller and husband Robby of Roaring River and Adam Blevins and wife Hasna of New Zealand, ten great grandchildren; Caleb Spencer, Regan Spencer, Shelby Sprinkle, A.J. Sprinkle, Jacob Spencer, Seth Blevins, Rachel Blevins, Olivia Blevins, Titus Miller, Tessa Miller and a sister; Agnes Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maple Grove Baptist Church, 2349 Traphill Road, Hays, NC 28635.
