Description	:	Mrs. Margaret Veil Margaret Ellen Fisher was born in Union, Penn., April 1, 1856 died Dec 16 aged 55 years 7 months 15 days. She came to Iowa with her parents in 1879 and in February of the same year she was united in marriage to Richard Bostian. To this union were born five children four of whom are now living, one having died in infancy. Read More	Mrs. Margaret Veil Margaret Ellen Fisher was born in Union, Penn., April 1, 1856 died Dec 16 aged 55 years 7 months 15 days. She came to Iowa with her parents in 1879 and in February of the same year she was united in marriage to Richard Bostian. To this union were born five children four of whom are now living, one having died in infancy. When her youngest child was nine months old her husband was taken from her by death, thus left with her small children and her aged mother, she remained on the farm toiling ceaselessly for three years, by the help of her young brother, then 12 years of age; then her health came to such as would not permit her to continue farming so she moved to Chelsea, IA. In 1895 she married Mr. William Veil. Three happy years they enjoyed together when death again left her alone. For the past year of two she has been a great sufferer and lived with her children. During her sickness all was done to relive her that could possibly be done but life flowed out, God willed it so. The funeral services were held from her late home. Monday morning conducted by Rev.Zigler. The remains were taken to Chelsea where they were laid to rest. obit from Belle Plaine Area Museum
