She was born on June 20, 1927, in Steger, Ill. to late Ernest Sr. and Margaret ( Fostner ) Franz, On July 27,1946 she married Ralph E. Campbell ; he passed away on Feb. 27, 2006. She was born on June 20, 1927, in Steger, Ill. to late Ernest Sr. and Margaret ( Fostner ) Franz, On July 27,1946 she married Ralph E. Campbell ; he passed away on Feb. 27, 2006. Margaret had lived in Monticello ( Buffalo area ) most all of her life. She and her husband Ralph, owned and operated the former Campbell Frozen Custard Drive-In on Main Street for 25 years. Margaret had also worked at the former Bryan Manufacturing and the old RCA factory, both of Monticello. She retired from the old RCA factory. Margaret enjoyed time with her family. She also liked playing Bingo and working word search puzzles. Surviving are her children, Stanley ( Wanda ) Campbell, Monticello, Jeffery Campbell, Jasper, Darlene ( Chuck ) Connell, Burnettsville, and Kathy ( Robert ) Pardue, Hollow Rock, Tenn. ; seven grandchildren ; eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Bush, Lillian Mills, Frnest Franz Jr., Sandra Coruccini, Donna Barclay, Calvin Franz, James Franz, Sharon Lowry, Wayne Franz, and Hope Mendez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Lois Allen, Loretta Baker and Betty Ann Mattz. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. today Wednesday, at Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. today Wednesday, with Rev. Mark Newman of the Monon Community / Assembly Church of God of Monon officiating. Burial will follow at the Hughes Cemetery in rural Monticello. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
