Description	:	Mrs. Margaret Elvina "Vina" Speer Brann, of East Bend, gladly took her Lord's hand and went to her heavenly home May 22, 2013 at the age of 100 years 2 days. She was born May 20, 1913 to the late Lewis Dalton and Celia Lee Hunter Speer in Yadkin County. She was the oldest member of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church and was faithful until her health failed. She was born May 20, 1913 to the late Lewis Dalton and Celia Lee Hunter Speer in Yadkin County. She was the oldest member of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church and was faithful until her health failed. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny, Guston, Hubert, Willie, and Tom Speer, and her sisters Emma Craft, Alice Lane and Edith Spillman. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Maxie (Michael) Dixon, grandchildren Myra (James) Smith and Michael "Mike" (Rebecca) Dixon, Jr., brother-in-law T. D. Brann, numerous nieces and nephews, several grandnieces and grandnephews, and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Friday, May 24th at 5:00 pm.
