Keefe in this city at 11:30 Wednesday morning, April 7th. Death came after only one days illness of gall bladder trouble although she had been ailing for the two and a half years. Margaret Flynn was born to Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Flynn in 1862 in Kilworth Co. Cork, Ireland and came to the United States in about 1880. She was united in marriage to Patrick Kenealy in 1886. After coming to the United States she resided in Galesburg, Illinois, and then for some time resided on a farm near Brainard. She has made her home in David City the remainder of her life where she has made many close friends. Mr. Kenealy passed away eight years ago. Mrs. Kenealy was a member of the St. Mary’s church in David City and a member of the Altar Society. Funeral services were conducted from the St. Mary’s church in this city at 9:30 Friday, April 9th and burial took place in the St.Francis church at Center. Pall bearers were Frank Birkel, Pete Vanderheiden, Henry Smith, Lawrence Kearney, Ed. Busk and Joe Farrell. Relatives surviving are two brothers and one sister, John Flynn of Omaha, Tom Flynn of Brainard and Mrs. J. J. Keefe of David City and seven nephews and 9 nieces. Tom was unable to be present at the services because of illness. Those here from away to services were John Flynn, Mr. and Mrs. John Donahue and Ellen and Mrs. Chas. Leppert all of Omaha; James and John Mahoney and Wm. Beaucham of Palmyra; Mrs. George Phillips and Mr. Allen Stauffer of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flynn of Waterloo; Dan, John and Leo Powers and Mrs. James Ward of Ulysses. ___ CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our many friends and neighbors for their many kind deeds at the time of the death of our beloved sister and aunt, and for the many spiritual bouquets and flowers.
