She married John Clifford Witten at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove Feb 15, 1944. The couple made their home in Arthur. She was employed at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove for 36 years, where she worked as a cook and also in the laundry department. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove. Survivor include two brothers, Albert Roeder of Hartley and Raymond and his wife Ruth Roeder of Arthur; a sister, Esther Lansink of Ida Grove, a sister-in-law, Hattie Meyer of Lake City; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
