Description	:	Daughter of Robert and Mary (McGan) Thome. On March 30, 1942, Marge married John Gregory Kaiser at St. Mary's Cathedral in Lincoln. He preceded her in death. Survivors of the immediate family include two sisters-in-law, Maxine Thome and Sue Carraher, both of Spalding. Additional survivors include nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends. She attended District 60 in Boone County through the 8th grade and graduated from Albion High School in 1939. Marge and John returned to the Spalding area where they farmed the family farm with his family until John's passing in July 2008. They had moved into Spalding prior to his death. Marge was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and active in the St. Ann's Altar Society. They enjoyed traveling across the United States and Europe to many of John's military reunions. Marge and John were Godparents to 13 of their nieces, nephews and friends' children. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother Francis "Frank" Thome; three brothers-in-law, Rich, Otto and Ralph Kaiser; a sister-in-law, Benedicta Hendrickson, her in-laws, Frank and Mary Kaiser, and a nephew, Ron Kaiser.
