She was 88 years old. Funeral services are to be at 9:30 Thursday morning at St. Mary's Church in Willey, of which Mrs. Pletchette was a member. The requiem mass will be read by the pastor, the Rev. Father H. J. Dries. Burial will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery. The body was returned at 3:30 this afternoon from the Sharp Funeral Home to the family home in Willey, to repose there until the time of the rites. TO PRAY ROSARY--The rosary, led by the Rev. Father Dries, will be prayed at the family home at 8 o'clock tonight and also Wednesday evening. The Rosary Sodality of St. Mary's Church will be present in a group Wednesday night. Mrs. Pletchette, a native Iowan, was born Feb. 3, 1855, at Luxemburg, Dubuque County, Ia. Her maiden name was Margaret Heiderscheidt. She married George Pletchette at Luxemburg in 1881. In 1883 Mr. and Mrs. Pletchette came to Carroll county from Luxemburg. After living on a farm near Willey for several years, they moved into the town, where Mrs. Pletchette has resided ever since. Mr. Pletchette died May 27, 1931. Mrs. Pletchette was the mother of seven children, six of whom survive: John Pletchette, Dedham; Bernard and Joseph, Willey; Mrs. William Klocke (Mary), Dedham; Mrs. Anton Engle (Gertrude), Grainfield, Kas., and Mrs. Ed Klocke (Margaret), Dedham. A son, George, died Dec. 16, 1942. She was one of a family of seven children, survivors of whom are two brothers, Math Heiderscheidt, Spokane, Wash., and Peter Heiderscheidt, Luxemburg, Ia., and one sister, Miss Elizabeth Heiderscheidt, Dubuque, Ia. Mrs. Pletchette belonged to St. Mary's Church and also the Rosary Sodality of the parish. She was a member of the Daily Times Herald Three-Quarter Century club.
