Margaret was born May 23, 1925, the daughter of Willis Wellington and Chloe Alma (Cooper) Scott. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1942 and attended AIB for two years. Read More	Margaret Helen Christopherson, 86, of Huxley, Iowa, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames, Iowa. Margaret was born May 23, 1925, the daughter of Willis Wellington and Chloe Alma (Cooper) Scott. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1942 and attended AIB for two years. She was united in marriage to Harold E. Christopherson in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on March 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1978. Margaret was an Executive Secretary at Younkers; worked at Thomas Tax Service in Cambridge and was Post Master for the U.S. Postal Service in Cambridge for eleven years, retiring in 1990. She was a farm wife and enjoyed her kids, grandkids, farm life and bird watching. She was an avid reader. Margaret was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cambridge and was the first woman to hold an office in the church. She was also Sunday School Superintendant for many years; a member of the Cambridge American Legion Auxiliary Mathis-Wire Post #233; Cambridge Historical Society; and a board member at Westside Acres. Survivors include her son, Dale Christopherson of Cambridge, Iowa; a daughter, Donna (James) McNutt of Fresno, California; three grandchildren: Lisa (Ron) DeBolt of Des Moines, Iowa; Brice (Kala) Christopherson of Cambridge, Iowa, Colleen Christopherson of Urbandale, Iowa; and one great granddaughter: Lillian Margaret Christopherson; a half brother: Jay Scott of Nixa, Missouri; and a half sister: Barbara Ward of Nixa, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister: Harriett Pinchak; a brother: Richard Scott; and one step brother: Welby Mitchell.
