Peters, 79 EAST PALESTINE — A Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated for Mrs. Margaret I. Peters, 79, of Brookdale Avenue, who died at 10:40 a m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1992, at the Salem Community Hospital following a two-week illness. She was born in East Palestine July 22, 1913, a daughter of the late James and Theresa Niebauer Clark. Mrs. Peters had been employed as a decorator at the former W.S. George Pottery, and later worked at United Canning and Pittsburgh Chair before retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Her husband. Carl E. Peters, whom she married Dec. 19, 1943, died March 16, 1968. She is survived by a son, James R. Peters of Amado, Ariz.; and a grandson. The Rev. Dezso Torok is to be celebrant of the Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial is to be in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends may call al the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight. A Vigil service is to be held at 7. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the East Palestine Emergency Medical Technicians.
