Description	:	Margaret Jane Noggle was born in Wapello County, Iowa April 12,1860, and passed away at the hone of her son Jesse, in Garden City, Kansas, January 16,1942, at the age of 81 years, eight months and 25 days.On December 14, 1879, she was united in marriage to John Recknor. To this was born one daughter and two sons. She came to Kansas 57 years ago and settled near Langley, Kansas and lived there until seven years ago when she moved to Garden City. Her husband, John Recknor, departed this life September 29, 1934. Surviving relatives are the daughter Mrs. Pearl Barden, Garden City, two sons, Charley of Downey, Calif. and Jesse of Garden City, Kansas, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, one brother, F. E. Noggle, Holton, Kansas, two sisters, Fannie Snodgrass and Bird Maudlin, LaCrosse, Kansas, and many other relatives and friends. She has been a faithful member of the Methodist church, joining at Langley May 15, 1892 under the ministry of Rev. Semians. Memorial services were held at the Wiley Funeral Home in Garden City last Saturday, January 17th and the body brought to Marquette on Sunday where services were held in the afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. J.C.Paschal, officiating and interment was made in the Langley cemetery beside her husband.
