Read More	HEIRONYMUS, MARGARET JEAN—Margaret Jean Heironymus was born to George Ansel Campbell and Noville June Brown-Campbell on April 20, 1935, in York. She passed away June 7, 2008, in her home in rural Geneva at the age of 73 years, one month, and 17 days. She was one of seven children in the family. Maggie lived in McCool Junction as a child and then moved to Geneva when she met and married the love of her life, Bernard “Bud” Heironymus on June 8, 1952. From a loving and committed bond came three children, Terry Lee, Nancy Jo and Gary Dean. Working together as a team, Maggie and Bud owned and operated a commercial garbage service throughout the first phase of their lives together. As long as she was beside her companion, she tackled other challenges, such as a school bus driver, front-end alignment store and plumbing. Maggie and Bud had a passion for children and helped establish the first Little League Baseball organization in Geneva. Maggie was never afraid of a challenge which showed when she and Bud changed directions in 1974 to begin long-haul truck driving. Developing friendships through the U.S., they continued to drive until the death of Bud in 1999. As all remember, love and laughter were a part of their lives. Maggie left wonderful memories in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for them was never doubted. At any time, you could experience her tenacity in overcoming the obstacles that were presented to her in life. Maggie is preceded in death by her father and mother, her grandson Gary “Butch” Jr., and her love, Bud. She is survived by brothers, Don and Kelly Campbell; sisters, Joann Moul, Annabelle Maxfield, Helen Hager and Millie Conway; children, Terry Heironymus, Nancy Hill, Gary and Sue Heironymus, Nancy Moen; grandchildren, Mandy Heironymus, Tonya and Tony Schulz, Sandy Heironymus, Chelsey Heironymus, Buddy Heironymus, Melissa and Todd Simacek, Bambi and Brian Erdkamp, Amy Heironymus, April Prester, Jonathon and Hope Hill, Jeremey and Laura Pierce, Jason and Amie Pierce, Kari and Todd Braun, Candice Leeper, Kristi Leeper; great-grandchildren, Alexis Rocole, Erika Schultz, Jacey Schultz, Dominic Schultz, Elijah Rose, Avery Rogers, Shelby Simacek, Brandi Simacek, Sydney Simacek, Mason Simacek, Dean Erdkamp and Caleb Erdkamp, Kaylin Pierce, Kevin Peirce, Emily Pierce, Hanna Pierce, and Brendon Braun. Memorial services were conducted at the United Methodist Church in Geneva on June 10 with Pastor Ron Harris officiating. Karl Brinkman accompanied himself with the guitar and sang “Jesus Loves Me” and “In the Garden.” Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in the Geneva Public Cemetery.
