Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Sydney Williams, who died at the Methodist hospital in Omaha last Thursday morning, were held Sunday afternoon at the Baptist church in Albion, following a brief service at the family home. Rev. Edmonds, pastor of the church, conducted the services, assisted by Rev. H. O. King, of Platte Center, former pastor. Many were unable to gain entrance to the church, so great was the concourse of relatives and friends who gathered to pay their last respects to the departed. The floral tributes were beautiful. Margaret Jean Nelson was born December 16, 1911, at Genoa, Nebraska, and died August 23rd, 1934, at the Methodist hospital in Omaha, at the age of 22 years, 8 months and 7 days. She received her grade and high school education at St. Edward and spent one year at college at Kearney. She was united in marriage July 10th, 1931, to Sydney Howard Williams of Albion. At the age of 20 years, Margaret accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized into the fellowship of the Albion Baptist church, April 3rd, 1932. She leaves to mourn her going, besides her husband, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nelson of St. Edward; five sisters, Hazel, Mae, Violet, Audrey and Lorraine; one brother, Glen; a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Margaret had a charming and winning personality and to know her was to love her. She was a loving wife, a devoted daughter and sister, a faithful friend, and a steadfast Christian whose faith in her Lord was unwavering. She not only will be mourned in her home and church, but in the community where she lived and took a prominent part. (Albion Weekly News – Albion, Nebraska – August 30, 1934)
