Mrs. Howard was born the daughter of Claude Watford and Margaret Ann Tilton Watford on June 07, 1939, in Hemingway. She was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church where she served in Women's Ministry. She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title - Beloved Mother. Mrs. Howard was born the daughter of Claude Watford and Margaret Ann Tilton Watford on June 07, 1939, in Hemingway. She was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church where she served in Women's Ministry. She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title - Beloved Mother. She leaves behind: eight children, Jamey (Brenda) Howard, Margaret Roberts, David (Dena) Howard, June Burroughs, Earl Howard, Lisa (David) Foy, Shelley Howard and Kevin Howard; seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, John (Sylvester) Watford. She was predeceased by her parents; the father of her children, James Leroy Howard; four brothers, Lavern Watford, Colel Watford, Lawerence Watford, and Lewis Watford; and a sister, Ellie Mae McCutcheon. A Going Home Celebration will be 5PM Monday, May 7, 2012, at the New Hope Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
