On April 7, 1923, Margaret Zurcher and Leo George Keller were married in Sioux City, IA. By the 1940 census, they had four sons and two daughters, living in Sioux City, IA. OBITUARY: Margaret K. Keller, 96, #2 14th St., died Friday at a Sioux City nursing home after a short illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Epiphany, with the Rev. Alfred E. McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with a Catholic Daughters of America rosary at 4 p.m. and Scripture wake service at 7 p.m. Mrs. Keller, the former Margaret K. Zurcher, was born in Bellevue, Neb. She married Leo G. Keller April 7, 1923, in Sioux City. He died here Dec. 31, 1983. She worked for R.A. Kennedy for 30 years. Her writing frequently appeared in the editorial pages of the Sioux City Journal and other publications. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany parish and the Catholic Daughters of America, the Sioux Writers and Girls of 68. Survivors include three sons and their wives: one of Sioux City; another of San Francisco; and a third of Minneapolis; two daughters, one of Sioux City and the other of Seattle; one daughter-in-law of Des Moines, and three sisters, two of Denver and another of Onawa, Iowa; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Keller. Published in the Sioux City, IA, Journal, dated February 6, 1994, page 9.
