Burmeister was born Jan. 3, 1916, in Fort Calhoun to John and Elizabeth (Gross) Burmeister. On Nov. 7, 1942, she married Gerald H. Erixon, and in 1951, they moved to a farm near Mondamin where they farmed for many years. Mrs. Erixon enjoyed playing cards, reading and working the orchards in the fall. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, Rodney and Mary Erixon of Modale, Iowa, Lynetta and Bob Bair of Blair, Royce and Shirley Erixon of Mondamin; daughter-in-law, Debbie Erixon of Ankeny, Iowa; sister, Helen Jipp of Blair; brothers, Arnold Burmeister of Blair and Richard Burmeister of Fort Calhoun; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
