Her memorial service was at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18th, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Crippen officiating. Burial was in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family requests that donations in memory of Margaret be made to the First United Methodist Church in Huron. Margaret was born on August 31, 1915 in Burke, South Dakota, to Ivyl and Dora Bruner. She graduated from Geddes High School and received a two-year teaching certificate from Yankton College. She later received a Bachelor's degree from Wayne State Teacher's College in Nebraska and a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Minnesota. Margaret married Vernon Moxon in Yankton, South Dakota, on June 8, 1941. Margaret's three children, Art, Susan, and Keith, were born in Redfield, South Dakota. The family moved to Huron in 1955. Over the years of her teaching career, Margaret taught school in Raymond, Wagner, Faith, Spearfish, Wessington Springs, Redfield, and Huron. She was the head librarian at Huron High School for 20 years until her retirement in 1983. After her 90th birthday in 2005, Margaret moved to Seattle, Washington. She lived in the Ida B. Culver assisted-living facility in Seattle until her 93rd birthday in 2008. She lived at the Viewhaven group home in Seattle for the past 10 months until her death on June 28, 2009. She is survived by her son, Keith (Soona) of Seattle, Washington, her former daughter-in-law, Colleen Denny (Robert) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, her former son-in-law, E. Thomas Sullivan (Leslie) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and her six grandchildren: Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Major Arthur L. Moxon in 1981; her husband, Vernon in 1996; and her daughter, Susan A. Moxon Sullivan in 2001
