She was a country girl at heart, born September 12, 1930 to William and Mamie Jackson in Burley, ID. She married John Frazer Osborn on May 24, 1950. Osborn (September 12, 1930 - September 21, 2016) Margaret Osborn was called to the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was a country girl at heart, born September 12, 1930 to William and Mamie Jackson in Burley, ID. She married John Frazer Osborn on May 24, 1950. Margaret’s first love was our dad, John Frazer Osborn, and her second love was long walks alone. She also enjoyed reading, fishing, square dancing, knitting, and other needle work. She was the fourth in a family of eight siblings, and her parents were country western singers who traveled around in a converted school bus. Margaret grew to adulthood in Golden, CO and worked as a waitress where she met John. They moved to Loveland in 1952 to join John's father, Kenneth, to work on the Timberlane farm. Mom also worked at HP "up on the hill". She worked hard to keep a roof over our heads and provide food to eat. She took care of Dad when he got sick and raised both Chris and Jonna. Margaret had a fierce sense of independence and a strong will to live. She is survived by daughters Christine (Longmont) and Jonna (Baltimore), grandsons Nathan and Kevin. Also surviving are sisters Anna (CA), Helen (FL), Elise (KS) and Alma (TX) and various nephews and nieces. She is preceded by husband John Frazer Osborn, brothers Carl and William (Bill), sister, Ramona and various nephews and nieces. A graveside service will be held Wednesday September 28th at 3:00 p.m., at Loveland Burial Park Cemetery in Loveland, Colorado. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
