Description	:	Margaret L. Dorsch, 91, of Beatrice died at the Parkview Center in Beatrice on Saturday morning, December 6, 2008. She was born on February 16, 1917 at Douglas, Nebraska and graduated from Douglas High School. She then attended and graduated from the St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Lincoln. She married George Dorsch on July 27, 1938. They moved to California in 1940 where she worked as a registered nurse for forty years. After they retired they moved back to Beatrice in 1980. She helped serve Meals on Wheels and enjoyed reading, playing cards and gardening. Survivors include one son... Read More	Margaret L. Dorsch, 91, of Beatrice died at the Parkview Center in Beatrice on Saturday morning, December 6, 2008. She was born on February 16, 1917 at Douglas, Nebraska and graduated from Douglas High School. She then attended and graduated from the St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Lincoln. She married George Dorsch on July 27, 1938. She helped serve Meals on Wheels and enjoyed reading, playing cards and gardening. Survivors include one son Thomas G. Dorsch of Beatrice. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Stetter McGinley, her husband George "Tero" Dorsch who died on August 27, 1996 and one daughter Margaret "Peggy" Dorsch who died on October 11, 2002, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Fox Funeral Home with Father Steve Major officiating. Private burial will take place at the Sterling Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society with the Fox Funeral Home in charge. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. Monday until the time of services on Tuesday. A guestbook for signatures and messages of condolence is available online at www.foxfuneralhome.net.
