Description	:	Mrs. Levera (Hymes) Everson, age 95, a resident of Beverly Pike, Belington, departed this life December 20, 2013 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born February 2, 1918 at Junior, a daughter of the late Okey A. and Ella Belle (Row) Hymes. She was twice married, first to Fred Sandridge who preceded her in death; and second, on August 22, 1959, she was united in marriage to Raymond Everson who preceded her in death April 18, 1999. Read More	Mrs. Levera (Hymes) Everson, age 95, a resident of Beverly Pike, Belington, departed this life December 20, 2013 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born February 2, 1918 at Junior, a daughter of the late Okey A. and Ella Belle (Row) Hymes. She was twice married, first to Fred Sandridge who preceded her in death; and second, on August 22, 1959, she was united in marriage to Raymond Everson who preceded her in death April 18, 1999. She is survived by her adopted daughter Jean Hymes, Belington, one grandson Fred Hymes and wife Amy of Kinsale, VA, and two great grandchildren, Chase and Waylon Hymes. She is survived by one brother Robert E. Hymes and wife Glenda, Belington. She was preceded in death by one sister Mary Corley and two brothers Warren and Joe Hymes. Mrs. Everson attended the schools of Barbour County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Belington Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Sunday December 22nd, 2013 from 10 am - 2 pm, the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Evangelist Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Levera's memory to Mountain Hospice 1002 S. Crim Ave., Belington, WV 26250. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Levera (Hymes) Everson.
