Description	:	On Saturday, March 27, 2021 Margaret Louise DePuydt Westhoff passed away of natural causes at the age of 87. Margaret was born on March 14, 1934 and was raised in the farming community of Whitewater, MT. She married Francis "Ody" Westhoff on May 19, 1956 and moved to Lewistown, MT in 1959. Read More	On Saturday, March 27, 2021 Margaret Louise DePuydt Westhoff passed away of natural causes at the age of 87. Margaret was born on March 14, 1934 and was raised in the farming community of Whitewater, MT. She married Francis "Ody" Westhoff on May 19, 1956 and moved to Lewistown, MT in 1959. There they raised five sons and one daughter. In 2006, Margaret moved to Billings to live with her daughter, Donna, after the passing of her husband Ody. In addition to raising six children, Margaret also maintained a career working at JCPenney and later for the Bureau of Land Management until her retirement in 1999. Margaret dedicated her life to the wellbeing of her family and her community. Her love of her husband Ody and her children was evident in everything she did. She was an active member of St. Leo's Catholic Church where all her children attended school. Margaret was also a member of the St. Francis Ladies Guild where she supported many community events. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Dan DePuydt; mother, Margaret Hoffman DePuydt; husband, Ody; son, Frank; and brothers, Leo and Louie DePuydt. She is survived by her sons, Dale (Kristen), Dean (Sandra), Dan (Beverly) and David (Gretchen); daughter, Donna Pratt (Jeff); and daughter-in-law, Suzanne. Margaret is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Michelle Westhoff, Jennifer Weeden (Lee), Jeramy Westhoff, Theresa Westhoff, Christy Soames (Greg), Melissa Dozal (Mike), Jordan Westhoff, Dillon Westhoff, Alyssa Pratt, Rachel Westhoff, Sienna Westhoff, Mariah Westhoff, and Logan Westhoff; as well as 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held at the Creel Funeral Home Chapel in Lewistown, MT on Monday, April 5, 2021, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church with Rite of Committal to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
