Description	:	Margaret Clausen, 95, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at the St. Joseph Villa in David City, Nebraska. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Patrick Sparling and Rev. Kurt Ebert officiating. Interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Margaret Louise Clausen was born December 1, 1915, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Joseph and Louise (Wagner) Erwin. She graduated from Kramer High School in 1933 and went to work for Northern Natural Gas. On August 12, 1937, Margaret was united in marriage to Henry Clausen in Columbus. Together they farmed north of Columbus until retiring in 1991 and moved into Columbus. Margaret was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Country Ladies Aid. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to several card clubs. She enjoyed working with the Ladies Aid and spending time with her family and friends. Since February, 2006, Margaret has resided at St. Joseph's Villa & Court where she was involved in the many activities and a member of the Villa Council. Margaret is survived by: Daughter – Kathy (Gary) Soulliere of Bellwood, NE Son – Henry (Charlene) Clausen of Sun Lakes, AZ Daughter – Patty Miller of Columbus, NE Daughter-in-law – Connie Clausen of Columbus, NE Grandchildren – Carol Clausen, Jennifer (Dave) Jahn, Steve (Julie) Soulliere, Suzanne (Jeff) Schneider, Shannon Clausen, Joseph (fiancée - Cindy Devers) Miller, and Katie (Calvin) Young 14 Great Grandchildren Margaret was preceded in death by: Parents –Joseph & Louise Erwin Husband – Henry Clausen Son – Robert "Bob" Clausen – September 22, 2011 Brother – Joseph Erwin Granddaughter – Lisa Rawhouser
