Description	:	ALDERSON — Margaret Louise Harrah Shelton, age 92, of Alderson, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, W.Va., following a long illness. Born November 1, 1922, at Asbury, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Basil and Josephine Burdette Harrah. Read More	ALDERSON — Margaret Louise Harrah Shelton, age 92, of Alderson, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, W.Va., following a long illness. Born November 1, 1922, at Asbury, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Basil and Josephine Burdette Harrah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Henry Shelton; two daughters, Anna "Joanne" Shelton Smith and Barbara June Shelton; five brothers, James, Robert, John, William, and Frank Harrah; two sisters, Gloria Harrah and Ruth Harrah Sisk; and one great-grandson, Timothy Shelton Kling. Mrs. Shelton was a member of the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church in Alderson where she taught Sunday school classes for several years. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Godby of Beaver, W.Va., Anita Russell of Sacramento, Calif., and Linda Housel of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sisters, Virginia Frances Harrah and Rose Harrah Weaver; four granddaughters, Charlotte Tobin, Laura Mozeleski, Stephanie Grover, and Stacie Kling; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church, Alderson, W.Va., with the Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow at The End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, W.Va. Friends may call Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church, Alderson, W.Va. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church, P.O. Box 456, Alderson, WV 24910.
