Description	:	Margaret Louise Coffin, age 89 of Shelby, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Columbus. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Shelby United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg is in charge of arrangements. Margaret was born April 4, 1926 to James and Henrietta (Tiede) Sutton in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended District 42 school in Boone county. She was united in marriage to Arthur Archer. For many years Margaret ran a barbershop in Silver Creek. She attended District 42 school in Boone county. She was united in marriage to Arthur Archer. For many years Margaret ran a barbershop in Silver Creek. Following Arthur's passing, Margaret retired and married Pearl Coffin on January 16, 1963. They resided in Shelby. Pearl passed November 23, 1995. Margaret continued living in Shelby until the end of April 2015 when she was admitted to Edgewood and on June 17 she moved to Golden Living Center in Columbus. Margaret enjoyed gardening and yard work, fishing, especially in the Blue River, camping and their cabin at Lake Ericson. They wintered in Harlingen, Texas. She attended the United Methodist Church in Shelby, was a member of the Shelby Legion Auxiliary and was very active in the Shelby Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husbands Arthur and Pearl, one stepson Wayne Coffin, and one stepdaughter Carolyn Miksch.
