The Abrahams lived in Gering for many years. I knew the family because their daughter Lucille, was one of my girl friends during my high school years 1920-1924. The Abrahams lived in Gering for many years. I knew the family because their daughter Lucille, was one of my girl friends during my high school years 1920-1924. I believe Mr. Abraham worked at the old Gering Foundry. Lucille married a Mr. Howell and they lived north of Morrill until their deaths. The Abraham's son, Don, lived in Mitchell and his widowed mother Margaret lived with him before her death so I suppose that is why the scrapbook had a Mitchell address on it. Don & Lucille perhaps lived in the Dallas area. History of the Valley has always been of interest to me, as my grandparents came to Gering the same time the editor, Mr. A.B. Wood came.
