Blomgren, 9001 W. 106th, Overland Park, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Omaha, and had lived there and in Council Bluffs, Iowa, before moving to this area 12 years ago. Mrs. Blomgren was a school teacher in Council Bluffs. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters there. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Overland Park, and taught a children's class there. She was a graduate from the University of Nebraska and was a member of the American Association of University Women. She leaves her husband, Carl V. Blomgren of the home, and two brothers, James S. Morrow, Pisgah, Iowa, and Francis Morrow, Mondamin, Iowa. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church; burial Monday in St. Bridget of Erin Cemetery, Magnolia, Iowa. The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. tonight at the Newcomer Overland Park Chapel, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. (Src: Kansas City Times, July 21, 1978.)
