Description	:	Margaret Bonner Margaret Bonner was born on July 7, 1913 at O'Neill, Neb. She was the oldest of six children born to Alfred and Blanche Cole Revell. The family lived in O'Neill before moving to Imperial where Margaret attended high school. Margaret was married to Robert Bonner on Jan. 26, 1933 in Grant. She was the oldest of six children born to Alfred and Blanche Cole Revell. The family lived in O'Neill before moving to Imperial where Margaret attended high school. Margaret was married to Robert Bonner on Jan. 26, 1933 in Grant. They lived in Chase County and Imperial where they operated a grocery store. In the early 1950s they moved to Wichita where Margaret managed a Peter Pan Ice Cream Shop. After spending a brief period in Missouri they moved to Madrid in 1957. They later started the Bonner Drive-Inn which currently is the Little Country Kitchen. Robert died in 1966 and Margaret eventually moved to Oshkosh where she managed the hotel and worked in a cafe. In 1984 she returned to Grant and lived at Sunset Haven. She moved to Golden Ours Convalescent Home in 1997 where she died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2003. She had reached the age of 90. Margaret was affiliated with the Grant United Methodist Church. While living at Sunset Haven, Margaret enjoyed taking part in the activities at the Grant Senior Center. She always appreciated her garden and her flowers. She spent many hours quilting and crocheting. Margaret entertained family and friends with her ability to play the organ which she learned to play by ear. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter. She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Leroy) Tegarden of Ellensburg, Wash., Glenna Fullerton of Hollister, Mo., and Barbara (Neal) Vlasin of Madrid; two sons Bruce ( Shirley) Bonner of Sulson, Calif. and Brad (Tracy) Bonner of Loveland, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Lila Morris of Madrid; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 10 a.m. at the Grant United Methodist Church with Pastor Sally Ruggia-Haden, officiating. Music was provided by soloist Lori McCloskey and pianist Carolyn Harms. Casketbearers were Pat Vlasin, Kevin Vlasin, Brian Fish, Alan Fish, Brad Johnson and Gary Samuelson. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial. Bullock-Long Service was in charge of arrangements.
