She was born Oct. 2, 1914, to Benjamin C. and Margaret (Griffin) Shaw at Malaga, where she grew up. She recieved her early education at Malaga, then graduated from Wenatchee High School. She was born Oct. 2, 1914, to Benjamin C. and Margaret (Griffin) Shaw at Malaga, where she grew up. She recieved her early education at Malaga, then graduated from Wenatchee High School. She married Morris Frank Broers on March 18, 1936, at Malaga, where they made their first home. Mrs. Broers worked at various packing sheds in the Wenatchee Valley. They moved to Hermiston, Ore., for a short time, then to Coulee Dam in 1943, where she worked at a local restaurant. They then lived for 10 years in Yakima, where she was a homemaker, then returned to the Wenatchee Valley, where she had lived since. Survivors include a son, Frank Broers of Coulee Dam; two brothers, Francis E. Shaw of Stemilt Hill and James D. Shaw of Wenatchee; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Agnes) Dufor of Yakima; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley at East Wenatchee.
