Read More	Funeral services honoring the life of Margaret "Margie" Bass Goodwin were held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the LaCamp Church of God in LaCamp, LA, Rev. Shawn Waggoner and Rev. Greg Mortenson officiated. Burial followed in the LaCamp Cemetery. Margie had lived in the Hicks-LaCamp area most of her life and was a 1968 graduate of Hicks High School. After graduation she married the love of her life, Russell Goodwin and attended beauty school and soon after opened her own beauty shop at her home so she could raise her children. A loving mother, grandmother and wife she loved to collect angel figurines, beanie babies and coordinated weddings. A lifelong member of LaCamp Church of God, she led music, sang solos, quartets or did whatever was needed to serve God. Preceding her in death was her father, Cecil Bass. Survivors are her husband of 45 years of Hicks; daughter of Coushatta; two sons and one daughter-in-law; mother of LaCamp; two sisters and Five Nannas Angels. Services were under the guidance of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville.
