Description	:	Margaret Waldroop "Margie" Reece, 103, passed away Friday, July 7, 2006, in a local nursing center. A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Allman Waldroop. She was married to the late Frank W. Reece, who died in 1964, and was preceded in death by three children, John Reece of Montana, Lucille Reece Hunter of Florida and Bill Reece of Illinois; one sister, Virginia Waldroop Gillespie, and a brother, Jacob Waldroop. She was the oldest member of First Baptist Church; was very active in her church and especially enjoyed serving on the flower... Reece, who died in 1964, and was preceded in death by three children, John Reece of Montana, Lucille Reece Hunter of Florida and Bill Reece of Illinois; one sister, Virginia Waldroop Gillespie, and a brother, Jacob Waldroop. She was the oldest member of First Baptist Church; was very active in her church and especially enjoyed serving on the flower committee. She is survived by two sons, J.D. Reece of Franklin, and Ed Reece of Asheville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
