Read More	Margaret Demaree December 29,1912 – April 16, 2000 Margaret Mary Demaree, 87, 1200-16th Ave. SW, died Sunday, April 16th, 2000, in a Minot medical center. Margaret was born December 29, 1912, on the family farm in Mandan Township Ward County, south of Berthold, to John "J.W." and Thekla Natzdorf. She was raised on the family farm and attended rural school before she graduated from Minot Hight School in 1932. She worked with her sister, Gladys, in a road construction cook car for a time after she graduated. She also continued working on the family farm and she helped take care of Gladys' children. Margaret Married Rex Demaree May 21, 1934 in Minot. They lived in Minot. She was a business partner with her husband. She took care of bookkeeping responsibilities for their businesses. They owned Demaree Excavating and Trucking Service and Rex's Auto Wreckers. Her husband died July 7, 1999. Margaret was a longtime member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Minot and was a member of its Plymouth Fellowship Circle. She was a volunteer in the Pilgrim Shoppe and North Dakota State Fair church stand. She was a member and held several offices in the Women of the Moose and she received the Academy of Friendship Degree. Survivors: daughter, June Flemmer, Minot; sons, John, Jerry and David, all Minot, Billy, Bismarck; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Eunice Stevick, Minot
