She was 82 years of age and a native of Illinois, where she was born on November 8, 1834. Draper & Co., of Ontario, informed THE SUN over the telephone last night that the remains would be brought to San Bernardino and that the funeral would be held at the M. B. Shaw Co. parlors, probably on Wednesday. San Bernardino Daily Sun (San Bernardino, CA.), P. 4, Col. 5 MRS. MARGARET M. GILBERT Funeral services for the later Mrs. Margaret Matilda Gilbert of Rincon were held yesterday afternoon at the chapel of the M. B. Shaw company, members of the Pioneer society being in charge of the ritualistic ceremonies and Rev. Shaw had charge at the grave in the Pioneer cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Magoffin and Mrs. J. C. Allison sang "Beautiful Valley of Eden," "Let Us Gather at the River," and "Abide With Me." The pall bearers were W. A. Boren, J. N. Corbett, Charles Mecham, George Miller, D. H. Wixom and Thomas Shay.
