Description	:	Margaret was the daughter of James McHugh and Catherine Scully. She married Patrick Quinn on 29 October 1888 in Perry, Dallas, Iowa. They were the parents of 8 children: Andrew LeRoy, Eugene, John, Marguerite, Walter James, Will, Timothy Edmund, and Mary Frances. Jefferson Herald - Thursday, June 14, 1928 - Mrs. Margaret Quinn passed peacefully away at her home near Bayard Wednesday afternoon, May 30. She had been ill for some weeks with heart trouble and complications but had rallied and apparently was much better when suddenly the death angel called her to her eternal home. Mrs. Quinn was Margaret McHugh and was married to Pat Quinn about thirty nine years ago, the latter dying some twenty years preceding, her leaving her with a family of six boys and two girls to whom she devoted her life. Her children, all grown to manhood and womanhood now, have a beautiful memory of the mother who has passed away. She was a woman loved and admired by neighbors and friends for the many virtues and fine qualities she possessed. She will be sadly missed in the community where she spent the greater part of her life. Her children left to mourn are Roy Eugene, John and Marguerite at home, Walter of Chicago, Will and Tim of Denver, and Frances who just completed her college course at Laramie, Wyoming. Her funeral was held Saturday at eleven a.m. at the St. Patrick's church and was largely attended, many friends being present from Jefferson, Jamaica, Cooper, Scranton, Coon Rapids and Guthrie Center. She was laid to rest in the Willow cemetery. Many friends extend deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
