Description	:	Margaret Malinda Bellmeyer was born in Macon County, La Platte, Missouri, March 2, 1866 and passed away May 2, 1948 at the age of 82 years and 2 months. She became a member of the Methodist Church when a small child and remained ever faithful to her savior. Read More	Margaret Malinda Bellmeyer was born in Macon County, La Platte, Missouri, March 2, 1866 and passed away May 2, 1948 at the age of 82 years and 2 months. She became a member of the Methodist Church when a small child and remained ever faithful to her savior. She was married to Charles Doughtery in Missouri and to this union four children were born all of whom have preceded her in death. One daughter, Mira Loma Shaff of Sedan passed away June 7, 1940. In the year 1903 she was married to L.A. Wolfe of Grenola and to this union were born three children, Keith, Evelyn and Fern who survive her. Mrs. Wolfe came to Kansas in 1908 and resided in the same home until 6 years ago when she became ill and came to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Fern Scobee with whom she was living at the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her passing her son Keith of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Whetstone of Ellinwood, Kansas and Mrs. Fern Scobee of Grenola. Two stepchildren, Mrs. Gertrude Hall of Cedar Vale and Mr. O.J. Wolfe of Howard, one brother, Henry Bellmeyer of Deepwater, Missouri and fourteen grandchildren, Ralph, Clyde, Vance, Oliva, Jean and Dorothy Shaff, Mrs. Fola Campbell, Mrs. Orma Campbell, Cari Gene Wolfe, Wilbur and Walter Scobee, Naomi, Neil and Nada Whetstone and a host of other relatives and friends. Rev. Earl McCloud, pastor of the Christian Church preached the service at the Methodist Church, Tuesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers were Herman, Reid, Harry and Bernice McGlasson, Emile Fildes and Jim Wolfe. She is Just Away, I cannot say and I will not say, that she is dead. She is just away. With a cherry smile and a wave of the hand she has wandered into an unknown land, and left us dreaming how very fair it needs must be, since she lingers there. And you O you who the widest yearn, for the old-time step and glad return, think of her faring on as dear in the love of there as the love of here. Think of her still as the same. I say, She is not dead - She is just away. Sgt. and Mrs. Vance Shaff and Donnie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Hall and Mrs. Maxine Champlin of Cedar Vale, Mr. and Mrs. John Utt of Cambridge, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Campbell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Campbell and sons, Cedar Vale, Mrs. Ancel Warren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McAlister of Cedar Vale, Rev. and Mrs. Earl McCloud of Sedan, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hall and Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell of Cedar Vale.
