A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, April 21, at Summerville Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frances Willis S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 1116, Summerville, SC 29484. Mrs. Barry was born May 1, 1935, in Henderson County, N.C., a daughter of Lamar Jackson and Lillian Salley Jackson. She was a homemaker. Mickey and Bo really loved their “home on the river” at Mateeba Estates that they enjoyed for 23 years. She loved to paint, read her Bible and especially loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was very generous and loving. She was an active member for many years of Summerville Presbyterian Church. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend a person could have and will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Francis Pelzer “Bo” Barry Jr. of Summerville; a daughter, Becky Grafton and her husband Mark Aydlett of Ravenel; a son, Randy Bennett of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren, Daniel Grafton, Emily Grafton and Olivia Grafton; two great-grandchildren, William McGlynn Jr. and Charles Alexander McGlynn; and numerous family and friends that loved her dearly.
