Description	:	Margaret Wardlow, daughter of George W. and Mary Ann Palmer was born in Illinois, Nov. 30, 1844 and departed this life Nov. 28, 1931 aged eighty six years eleven months and twenty eight days. All the loving hearts and willing hands could do was done to relieve her short illness and suffering, but God had called and she could not longer stay. She was united in marriage to Silas A. Wardlow, Sept. 17, 1865 and to this union were born eight children, six of which are still living. Her husband, one son, and one daughter having been called home before.... Those left behind to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother are Preston Wardlow, Bethany, Ohio, Martin Wardlow, Sardinia, Ohio, Mrs. Lou Brown, Hamilton, Ohio, Mrs. May Dunn, Mt. Orab, Ohio, Mrs. Nettie Reynolds, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, Cozaddale, Ohio, with whom she resided at the time of her death. She also leaves to mourn one sister, twenty eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a good neighbor, a loving wife, and a devoted mother. No night too dark, no sky too stormy that when the call for help came she did not hesitate to respond. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age and united with the Christian Church when in the tender years of girlhood. In the great number of years allotted her here, her life was filled with deeds of character, loyalty, charity and honor, characteristics that marked her every act, and gathered about her a host of friends and held them fast. Her acts of kindness thought life were many and of the every day sort, always of a genial disposition and a cheerful frame of mind she enjoyed doing for others and her greatest happiness came when she had befriended some one, helped them over the hard places and sent cheer into the hearts and homes of others. To her loved ones an friends she leaves that greatest heritage of noble life, and the world is better for her having lived in it. Life is not one's own, 'tis but a loan to be unpaid. Soon the dark comer's at the door, The debt is due: the dream is o'er Life;s but a shade. We can almost hear the angels say, "Call them not back again; They are with you everyday".
