Description	:	Margaret Pearl Swanson, 74 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at her home. Margaret was born July 4, 1937 in Seward, Nebraska. Margaret was the second of three children born to Raymond and Olietta (Parish) Remmels. Margaret attended school and graduated with the Holdrege High School class of 1955. Read More	Margaret Pearl Swanson, 74 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at her home. Margaret was born July 4, 1937 in Seward, Nebraska. Margaret was the second of three children born to Raymond and Olietta (Parish) Remmels. Margaret attended school and graduated with the Holdrege High School class of 1955. On March 17, 1956, Margaret was united in marriage to Clifford L. Swanson in Greeley, Colorado. To this union three children were born: Mike, Brenda and Mark. Margaret was a homemaker until she started working at the First Security Bank in 1968 until her retirement in 1998. Margaret enjoyed gardening and tending to her yard and especially spending time with her family. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and great-grandchildren: Brock Nelson and Amanda Swanson. Margaret is survived by her husband, Clifford of Holdrege; her children: Mike L. Swanson and his wife, Laura of Thorton, Colorado, Brenda Nelson of Grand Island, Nebraska, Mark O. Swanson and his wife, Marni of Overland Park, Kansas; 11 grandchildren: Paige Murbach, Megan, Nathan and Jill Swanson, Brandon Nelson, Nicole Davis, Brooke Nelson, Jeremy Encinger, Brodrick Nelson, and Chad and Bret Swanson; two great-grandchildren: Jordan and Jazlyn Encinger; brother, Eugene Remmels and his wife, Illa; sister, Sandra Davis and her husband, Glenn and a host of relatives and friends. Burial was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
