Description	:	Mrs. W.T. Massey Margaret Turner Jordan was born on May 27, 1835 in Monroe County, Kentucky, and died with acute pneumonia on Tuesday at 11 o'clock, March 3, 1914. She was 78 years, 10 months and 4 days old. She was married to the late W.T. Massey, on Feb. 28, 1861. To this union were born seven children, three of them dying in infancy. With her husband and children she came from Barren County, Kentucky to Iowa in October, 1878, settling near where she died. Her husband departed this life on June 13, 1909.... Read More	Mrs. W.T. Massey Margaret Turner Jordan was born on May 27, 1835 in Monroe County, Kentucky, and died with acute pneumonia on Tuesday at 11 o'clock, March 3, 1914. She was 78 years, 10 months and 4 days old. She was married to the late W.T. Massey, on Feb. 28, 1861. To this union were born seven children, three of them dying in infancy. With her husband and children she came from Barren County, Kentucky to Iowa in October, 1878, settling near where she died. Her husband departed this life on June 13, 1909. Since that time, she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Deisher. She was converted to God on Dec. 2, 1882 and was sanctified by faith in the blood of Jesus on Dec. 1, 1883 and joined the Advent Christian Church the same year. A true wife, a faithful mother and a devoted christian has fought the good fight. She leaves to mourn her loss, four children, John W. Massey, of Cainsville, Missouri; Mrs. Jennie Deisher of Woodland, Iowa; Mrs. Ida Hubbard of Morgan Twp.; and Eugene Massey, of Woodland, Iowa. Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Carter, of Tracy, Kentucky; besides a great number of relatives and friends who sincerely mourn her death. The funeral services were held at the Union Church by Elder Goben of the Apostolic faith, Wednesday at 1 o'clock, after which a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friend followed her body to the Lentz Cemetery where she was laid to rest.
