Mrs. Bazemore was born a daughter of Arlie Mitchell White and Lillian Francis Hanna White on September 10, 1922, in Andrews. She was a former employee for Rosemary Amusement; and was a faithful member of the Pine Crest Baptist Church. Mrs. Bazemore was born a daughter of Arlie Mitchell White and Lillian Francis Hanna White on September 10, 1922, in Andrews. She was a former employee for Rosemary Amusement; and was a faithful member of the Pine Crest Baptist Church. “Ms. Margaret” will be remembered as a genuine “Southern Lady” with heart big enough to love, care, and serve her family, friends, and community. Gene and Margaret were married on September 10, 1947, and celebrated 31 years together. From this blessed marriage was three children, Woody Eugene (Marsha B. Gardner) Bazemore, Linda B. (Jim) Kurtz, and Ernestine B. Feagin; ten grandchildren, Rhonda Kurtz, Sheila Kurtz, Rick Kurtz, Tony Kurtz, Cecil Feagin, Merci Thomas, Arthur Feagin, Joe Bazemore, Bryan Bazemore, and Patti Bazemore; 1 great grandson, Devon. She leaves behind a sister, Clara Rebecca Graham; and a large extended family, of niece and nephews. She was predeceased by parents; her husband; two children, Ernestine and Woody; a granddaughter, Sheila; and two brothers, Harry White, Sr. and Robert White. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011, in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery, Andrews, Georgetown Co., SC directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 2 until 3:30 p.m. prior the service in the Andrews Chapel. McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bazemore family.
