Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, at Aynor United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dennis Mardis officiating. Burial will follow in Aynor Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Margaret was born January 22, 1925, in Marion County, a daughter of Manley Bernie White and Hallie Rowell White. Burial will follow in Aynor Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Margaret was born January 22, 1925, in Marion County, a daughter of Manley Bernie White and Hallie Rowell White. A member of the Aynor United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Margaret served as president of the Friendship Class and worked with children and the United Methodist Youth Fellowship. She retired from the staff of Aynor High School, where she was well known for her volunteer work with the athletic department. An avid supporter of athletics, Margaret was the first non-athlete to be inducted into the Aynor High School Hall of Fame. Margaret is survived by her husband of 57 years, Malcolm Monroe Jordan; a daughter, Diane Jordan Welsh and her husband Michael Francis of Florence; two sons: James Malcolm and his wife Lynn Frye, and David Earl and his wife Diana Stroud, all of Aynor; seven granddaughters: Robin, Jordi, Rheney, Shay, Carla, Stephanie and Ginny; a grandson, James; and a great-grandson, Rabon. "Sissy" is also survived by three sisters: Bernie Baxley of North Carolina, Eliza Scurry of Marion, and Shirley Gardner of Conway; and a brother, William David White of Marion.
