Description	:	Margene Dorton age 96 of Hillsboro died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. She was born May 29, 1920 in Dodsonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Auda Cochran Brown. Mrs. Dorton along with her husband Bill, owned and operated Dorton Mill in Dodsonville for many years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. She is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Hillsboro. She was born May 29, 1920 in Dodsonville, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Auda Cochran Brown. Mrs. Dorton along with her husband Bill, owned and operated Dorton Mill in Dodsonville for many years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. She is survived by four children, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Hillsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Dorton on February 17, 1992. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20th at the Hillsboro Church of Christ. Jim Bush will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery in Pricetown. Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsboro Church of Christ, 155 West Walnut Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056.
