Margery was born March 14, 1921 in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Claude and LuElla (Sudduth) Young. She was raised and educated in the Logan area graduating from Missouri Valley High School in 1941. On Dec. 14, 1942 she was united in marriage to Richard John Stewart. Margery sewed for many people out of her home. The couple moved to Grundy Center in 1984. Richard died Nov. 9, 1992. Survivors include five children: 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a sister and a brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, two brothers, Marion and Raymond Young and four step-siblings, Clint, Clara, Inez and Lucille. Memorials may be directed to the family.
