Description	:	Margery Marie Pickner was born June 30, 1929 to Elmer and Elvira (Philbrick) Pickner at Chamberlain. She attended country school at Brule Bottom and later Chamberlain High School in Chamberlain. After high school, she moved to Mitchell. Around 1951, she was united in marriage to Pat McManus. She later moved back to Chamberlain and together with her sister Rosie, they opened a café called “Rosebud”. This was where she met her second husband John McFall. Read More	Margery Marie Pickner was born June 30, 1929 to Elmer and Elvira (Philbrick) Pickner at Chamberlain. She attended country school at Brule Bottom and later Chamberlain High School in Chamberlain. After high school, she moved to Mitchell. Around 1951, she was united in marriage to Pat McManus. She later moved back to Chamberlain and together with her sister Rosie, they opened a café called “Rosebud”. This was where she met her second husband John McFall. Around 1961, Margery was united in marriage to John McFall. They made their home in California where Margery worked in a cannery until retiring in about 1990. She then returned to South Dakota living in Rapid City, Yankton, and finally residing in Fort Thompson. Margery really loved all her nieces and nephews. Even though, Margery did not have children of her own, she spoiled her nieces and nephews and was known as “Granny” to many. Margery passed away on February 13, 2009 at the Highmore Nursing Home in Highmore, SD at the age of 79 years
