Read More	Cornelia Richardson Ramsey (November 18, 1930 - January 11, 2010) Cornelia Ramsey Gaffney, SC - - Cornelia Richardson Ramsey, 79, of 330 Filter Plant Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of James D. "Hot Shot" Ramsey and the daughter of the late Frank Richardson and Judy Bell Ruppe Richardson. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara Davis of Gaffney and Caroline Piasio of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Juanita Broome and Brenda Greene, both of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Marcia Davis, Kent Davis, Jay Davis, Tiffany Eubanks, Jennifer Piasio and Jonathan Piasio; seven great-grandchildren, Isaac Eubanks, Madisyn Davis, Emery Davis, Jordan Davis, Hope Eubanks, Noah Eubanks and Ella Eubanks. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at East Gaffney Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Church with Rev. Ronell Owensby and Rev. Jerry McKee officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P. O. Box 1886, Gaffney, SC 29342. The family will be at the home of Barbara Davis, 139 Berry Drive, Gaffney. An online guest register is available at www.blakelyfuneralhome.com.
