Read More	Site Manager: Login Obituaries Margie Worthy Bright (September 1, 1925 - January 27, 2009) Margie Bright Gaffney, SC - - Margie Worthy Bright 1925 - 2009 Dear wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away January 27, 2009 peacefully at The Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was born September 1, 1925, the second child of Lonnie Worthy and Amanda Eliza Gibson in Gaffney where she was raised. She was the wife of Hobert Bright. She was a retired LPN and pharmacy technician. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she was a member of the Relief Society Organization. She was also a member of the Western Square Dance Group and the American Nurses Association. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Stephen Bright, Sr. and wife, Charleen of Aiken, SC, Leslie Bright and wife, Claudia of Boiling Springs, SC, and Scott Bright and wife, Tammy of Gaffney; two daughters, Kathy Titus of Orem, Utah and Anne Moss and husband, Rannie of Blacksburg; fourteen grandchildren, Stephen Bright, Jr., Catherine Lynes, Maria Franklin, Jessica Castle, Sean McPherson, Joshua McPherson, Callie Bushman, Tobias Titus, Amanda Bright, Simon Bright, Rannie Moss, II, Ryker Moss, Trevor Bright and Madison Bright; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Peeler of Gaffney. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William (Bill) Worthy and Wilburn (Mann) Worthy. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 701 W. Buford Street, Gaffney. President J. Benoit Duquette presiding and Bishop Brian Cox conducting and Elder Stephen Bright, Jr., Elder Leslie Bright, Elder Stephen Bright, Sr. and President Wendell Newhouse officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the residence
