Willison, 98, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born December 17, 1916, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Willison was the daughter of the late William Cantor Collins and Ada Bernice (Lamp) Collins. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Arthur Woodrow Willison; her grandson: Micah Richard Willison; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family of seven children. Former owner of Willison Oil Company, Mrs. Willison was a member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church. Marguerite was the epitome of a hard worker. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, was an amazing cook, and had a loved for sewing and quilting. Marguerite enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful teacher of many things and always took pride in seeing her family's accomplishments. Marguerite had a deep abiding and life sustaining relationship with Jesus as her Savior and Lord, of which she was not ashamed. She encouraged others in their faith journey and her daily prayer list included many, many people and situations. Marguerite is survived by her sons: Arthur W. Willison, Jr., and wife, Kitty; and Charles R. Willison, all of Cumberland, MD; her daughter: Carolyn E. Dorsey and husband, James, Lewisburg, WV; as well as eight grandchildren and their spouses; five great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the New Covenant United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Dr. Chris Gobrecht officiating. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, MD
