Description	:	Mrs. Thomas D. Utterback of Hayesville, aged 65 years, died at her home last Sunday evening about 9 o'clock, following several years of illness. Mrs. Utterback was born in Keokuk County on May 27, 1876 and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Dickey. She was a lifetime resident of the county. Utterback of Hayesville, aged 65 years, died at her home last Sunday evening about 9 o'clock, following several years of illness. Mrs. Utterback was born in Keokuk County on May 27, 1876 and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Dickey. She was a lifetime resident of the county. On February 6, 1895, she was united in marriage to T. D. Utterback and they became the parents of three sons. The couple has resided in the Hayesville, Delta and Sigourney communities and moved back to their Hayesville home about five years ago. Mrs. Utterback united with the Bethel Church of Christ, between Delta and Hayesville in 1893, and was an active church worker as long as her health permitted. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Merrill and Rex of Hayesville and Leslie of Washington and one granddaughter Marguerite of Washington. Also living are one sister, Mrs. Erma Choat of California and two brothers, Harry Dickey of Auburn, Washington and George Dickey of New Washington, Indiana. The funeral service was held yesterday afternoon at the Hayesville Community church, conducted by the Rev. L. G. Potter, pastor of the local Christian church. Burial was made in Pennington cemetery.
